Freshwater/Water Resource Education Survey
Complete this survey by May 15, 2009 and your school could win a $500 Award Certificate for student admission to Discovery World. All respondents will also receive two complimentary Admission Passes to Discovery World’s new facility on Milwaukee’s Lakefront.
Discovery World, in association with the Greater Milwaukee Committee Milwaukee 7 Water Council and Veolia Water Milwaukee and partially funded by the Department of Labor Employment and Training WIRED grant is assessing the water education programs available in the Milwaukee 7 region.
Your participation will help us better understand the current status of freshwater/water resource education in our community as we work compliment your science education curriculum and ensure growth of the water industry in our region.

As one of the most talked about science topics of our era climate change has generated debate in both the scientific and political world. Confused about what and who you should believe? This is your chance to explore this topic for yourself, look at real data, and make up your own mind about what causes the Earth's climate to change . This introductory on-line course presents Earth’s climate system and explores the science and politics of global climate change. This 8 week course runs from June 15th to August 7th and will cover everything from historical climate change to future climate models. Course topics include the greenhouse effect, El Niño, ocean circulation, the science and politics of global warming and climate change impacts on society. All the course material and assessments are on-line, there are no regularly scheduled class meetings: learn where and when you want! Included are engaging discussion groups, weekly group assignments and links to additional online material. It is an introductory course so there are no prerequisites.
