Come explore UW-Madison - your public land-grant research university - and experience science as exploring the unknown. Interact with researchers, visit outdoor science venues across campus, enjoy recorded and live Science Spectacular shows, and try your hand at virtual Exploration Stations.

Events for 2021 include live virtual events by the Science is Fun chemistry outreach group and the Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center; pre-recorded activities and tours by the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center and the Wisconsin Science Museum; and self-guided outdoor activities at the Lakeshore Nature Preserve and the UW-Madison Arboretum. The UW-Madison Engineering Expo will also share video activities starting on Friday, April 9th.

From astronomy to zoology, UW-Madison Science Expeditions is the annual campus-wide science open house that connects you to UW people & places all year round. All events are free and open to the public. Virtual (live and pre-recorded) and outdoor events will be available.
